What We Do
We partner investors and landowners together for the purpose of constructing small scale solar farms.
The team takes care of all steps from initial design and engineering, network and council approvals, procurement and construction services, right through to final grid connection and commissioning. Redmud also takes care of all necessary registrations, offers ongoing Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services, and can offer tailored Energy Management Agreement (EMA) offtakes through our affiliate company YES Energy.

Finance for small-scale solar farms is commonly offered to investors as a 50/50 debt and equity split, however, other scenarios may be available depending on individual circumstances.

If you are seeking debt finance for a solar farm, we recommend checking your eligibility at the early outset. Many developers love the idea of investing in a solar farm but may be disappointed if they don’t meet the lending criteria. Like other types of construction-based finance, lending for renewables is specialised, with requirements that not every bank may be familiar with. Whilst the Redmud team don’t promote any specific lender, we do work closely with a preferred network in the finance industry who understand our business model.
